Stephen Farrier
Stephen Farrier has 30 years of experience in international capital markets. Stephen joined Madison Strategic Partners from Park Venture Advisors, where he structured and managed insurance financing programs. He also developed valuation criteria and analytical models utilized to screen and value policies.
Prior to that, he was a Managing Director and co-founder of Lexam Capital, a structured finance and investment advisory firm established in 1998. At Lexam, he structured and arranged collateralized debt obligations for clients including Bankers Trust Asset Management, Pacific Life Insurance Co., and First Union Securities and arranged structured note investments linked to derivatives for other fund managers and banks. Lexam was also responsible for a number of advisory mandates in the insurance space, including a multi-year advisory contract with a major life insurance company and the arrangement of an insurance-based account receivables financing for an Atlanta-based finance company. Prior to Lexam, Stephen was President of Prudential Global Funding, the derivatives subsidiary of Prudential Insurance, and with Capital Markets Assurance Corporation, a monoline insurance company specializing in structured finance which was acquired by MBIA in 1998. Stephen holds an Masters of Arts in Physics from Cambridge University.
